GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience. The role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, taking measurements, and coordinating with optical measurements to help choose the best vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
• Participate in creating a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the store's appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
• Embrace new technology and adapt with high accuracy
• Strong sales skills and goal-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly
