GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters store. The role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Consistently deliver sales plans and meet company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
2. Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and coatings.
3. Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose the perfect vision solution.
4. Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
5. Participate actively and contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
6. Maintain the appearance of the store by keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
7. Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic phone and math skills
• Ability to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
• Strong sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment

Pay Range: $15.34 - $20.98

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. You may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a comprehensive total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and employee discounts.
