General Function

The Sales Associate sets the standard for quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every customer has an excellent experience. The role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver sales goals and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and coordinate with optical measurements to find the perfect vision solution.
• Conduct measurements with optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with colleagues, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the store's appearance, keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills.
• Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy.
• Strong sales skills and accountability for results, with a goal-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a dynamic environment.
