General Function

The Sales Associate sets quality standards in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every customer has an excellent experience. This role helps position LensCrafters as the premier destination for vision needs in your community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver sales goals by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Use optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate with optical measurements to help them find the best vision solution.
• Conduct measurements with optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain store appearance and organize displays and inventory.
• Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
• Comfort with new technology and accuracy in changing environments
• Strong sales skills and goal-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Self-motivated with multitasking ability and flexibility
