Job Role and Responsibilities

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience. The role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Deliver sales plans and meet company objectives through cultivating and building customer relationships.
2. Use optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
3. Assist patients in selecting frames, taking measurements, and coordinating with optical measurements.
4. Use optical tools for measurements and consult with Opticians as needed.
5. Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering relationships with peers, management, and support staff.
6. Maintain store appearance, including displays and inventory.
7. Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
3. Familiarity with POS systems, computers, and basic math skills
4. Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
5. Strong sales skills and goal-oriented mindset
6. Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
7. Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and respond flexibly
