General Function

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience. The role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for vision needs in your community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Deliver sales plan and objectives by cultivating existing and new customer relationships.
2. Use optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
3. Assist patients in selecting frames, taking measurements, and coordinating with optical staff.
4. Participate in creating a positive store environment, maintaining displays and inventory.
5. Foster an inclusive culture by respecting customers and colleagues.

Basic Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. 1+ years in retail or customer service
3. Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills
4. Adaptability to new technology and high accuracy
5. Sales skills and goal orientation
6. Strong communication skills
7. Self-motivated and flexible in a dynamic environment
