Sales Associate Job Description

The Sales Associate role is an integral part of the store’s overall success and efficiency. It demands a focus on our brand commitment when servicing customers and driving results. Responsibilities include upholding Coach’s Service and Selling Models, creating a positive first impression, building ongoing customer relationships through personalized experiences, and leaving a positive, lasting impression.

SALES FLOOR:
  1. Understand organizational objectives and make decisions aligned with Company priorities.
  2. Take ownership and be committed to delivering results, monitoring personal and store metrics, and developing clienteling strategies with management.
  3. Create strategies to achieve personal metrics and performance goals.
  4. Take ownership of survey results, and develop plans for improvement.
  5. Represent Coach as a brand ambassador.
  6. Demonstrate Coach’s Selling and Service expectations consistently.
  7. Stay informed about local market changes and support local sales strategies.
  8. Drive business through sales strategies, sourcing new customers, and maintaining relationships.
  9. Create positive impressions through professional attire in line with Coach’s style guide.
  10. Build credibility as a fashion advisor by communicating fashion awareness and product knowledge.
  11. Communicate current pricing and promotional strategies effectively.
  12. Discuss product features, leverage cross-selling, and tailor approaches to customer needs.
  13. Follow up with customers genuinely to influence and close sales.
  14. Contribute to store financial results through personal selling techniques.
  15. Build lasting customer relationships and utilize Coach’s tools for clienteling.
  16. Promote teamwork and a positive store environment.
  17. Remain adaptable, receptive to feedback, and maintain professionalism.
OPERATIONS:
  1. Complete daily operational tasks, including maintaining the store, cash wrap, and visual merchandising standards.
  2. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
  3. Support inventory processes, including processing shipments and replenishing stock.
  4. Assist with customer transactions efficiently and accurately.

Additional Requirements
