Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with key surgeons and cover main products segments with clinical proficiency.
• Assist during procedures by applying product knowledge and guiding proper use of Zimmer Biomet products.
• Coordinate surgery scheduling and templating based on case knowledge.
• Plan and ensure implants and instruments are in place before cases.
• Request implants and instruments to cover designated surgeries via SMS.
• Post procedure, account for Zimmer Biomet products for billing and inventory replenishment.
• Adhere to policies with HCPs, product handling, and training; support sales with knowledge sharing.
• Develop relationships with internal support personnel and provide after-hours coverage as needed.

What You Can Expect

This position will utilize communication skills, knowledge of Zimmer Biomet products, and in-person meetings to assist current customers and secure potential customers. This position is responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of the Zimmer Biomet SET portfolio in order to consult on surgical procedures. This position reports to the RSD, RSM or Sales Team Leader within a defined territory or region.

How You'll Create Impact

• Builds strong relationships with key surgeons and continue to build knowledge and expertise to cover main products segment (Reconstructive, Extremities, ROSA™, Surgical, Sports Medicine and Trauma) procedures with clinical proficiency.

• During procedures, uses product knowledge to solve problems and inform surgeons and OR staff on the proper use and maintenance of Zimmer Biomet products

• Coordinates surgery schedule including templating for cases based on expertise and product knowledge.

• Plans, coordinates and ensures all implants and instruments are in place prior to case.

• Requests implants and instruments necessary to cover designated surgeries through SMS.

• Post procedure, ensures all Zimmer Biomet products used are properly accounted for billing and inventory replenishment.

• Reports on competitor and customer activities in the field.

• Strictly adheres to all policies and SOPs regarding the interaction with HCP (Health Care Professionals), product handling and complaints, expense reporting, sales activities and training.

• Supports Zimmer Biomet sales by sharing knowledge, ideas and references.

• Develops relationships with internal support personnel.

• Provides after hour and/or evening case coverage and add on case coverage for team and/or territory. Includes weekend and on-call case coverage and add on case coverage for team and/or territory.

• Collaborate with and provide sales support for team and/or territory, which includes the transportation of Zimmer Biomet instruments and implants for day, evening, add on or weekend cases.

• Plans, coordinates and ensures all implants and instruments are in place prior to case.

• Requests implants and instruments necessary to cover designated surgeries through SMS.

• Post procedure, ensures all Zimmer Biomet products used are properly accounted for billing and inventory replenishment.

Your Background

• Minimum of an Associates degree, medical certification or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of 0-2 year’s sales or sales service experience in medical device, surgical.

Travel Expectations

• Up to 20%

This role has a base pay of $60,000-70,000 annually + additional earnings via bonus opportunity
