Job Title: Sales Associate - Houston, TX

Join Turner Industries as a Sales Associate in the Pasadena, TX area, supporting our Crane and Heavy Equipment team. This role involves developing customer relationships to expand our crane and heavy equipment rental business in Southeast Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Make cold calls as required in your designated area or as directed by management.
  2. Travel to sales calls in other states and areas, including overnight travel when necessary.
  3. Develop and execute business development plans for targeted prospects.
  4. Monitor and adjust sales activities based on market changes.
  5. Identify prospects from current clients, referrals, and other sources.
  6. Lead or participate in client presentations.
  7. Maintain effective contact with clients and attend industry trade shows and conventions.
  8. Assist in developing marketing and sales strategies.
  9. Manage existing accounts, generate new business, and organize daily sales activities.
  10. Adjust sales presentations based on the type of sale and market trends.
  11. Report activity and results regularly to management.
  12. Evaluate and recommend improvements in products, services, and policies.
  13. Resolve customer complaints and develop solutions.
  14. Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
  15. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of industry-related experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective presentation skills and sales closing ability.
  • Customer service orientation and prospecting skills.
  • Knowledge of products and services offered.
  • Motivated to achieve sales goals.
  • Ability to influence and persuade potential customers.
  • Post-offer drug/alcohol screening and physical evaluation required.
  • Must not pose a safety threat to others in the workplace.
