Summary:

As an Auto Finance Retail Relationship Manager, you will develop and maintain profitable, quality indirect lending relationships with franchise automobile dealers within the Houston/Austin/San Antonio market.

Duties And Responsibilities:

1. Provide a full array of Auto Finance related products and services. Be responsible for direct sales to dealers, servicing dealer customers, and training dealership staff.
2. Build and maintain a portfolio of business by identifying new opportunities and demonstrating value to dealer customers, requiring a thorough knowledge of bank and competitor products.
3. Manage and maintain reporting and key performance indicators for the assigned territory.
4. Maintain overall market knowledge of the auto industry, local competition, and community awareness.
5. Promote Huntington’s value proposition of local sales and service.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Auto Finance related sales experience.
• High School diploma.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Residence within the Houston metro area.
• Knowledge and relationships with local dealers preferred.
• Experience working with multiple dealership groups.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficient at typing and completing pre-call sales.

Additional Details:

Exempt Status: Yes (not eligible for overtime pay)
