Job summary

United Pacific is hiring a Sales Associate to join our Paramount, CA location. You will assist in store operations, handle cash, and provide customer-focused service to drive profitability.

You will report to the Store Manager and learn to operate a cash register, maintain shelves, prevent inventory loss, and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Full-time benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods.
• Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.
• Be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Able to stand and walk for at least 8 hours.
• Physically able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds overhead for stocking.
• Occasionally climb a ladder to store/retrieve materials and signage.
• Most work indoors with some outdoor periods.
• Work in small spaces.

Responsibilities

• Daily cash handling and report to Store Manager.
• Maintain lighting/fixtures and store cleanliness.
• Ensure security of inventory and currency to prevent theft.
• Learn to operate cash register and computer console.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
