Job summary

United Pacific in Woodland Hills, CA is hiring a Sales Associate to assist in daily store operations, provide customer service, and support cash handling. You will learn to operate the cash register, computer console, and related tools, reporting to the Store Manager.

This role involves maintaining store appearance, handling cash, and assisting customers with a positive, professional attitude. Full-time position with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and written.
• Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods.
• Must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Be physically able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes.
• Ability to climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials and/or signage.
• Significant work is indoors, with occasional outdoor periods.
• Capable of working in small spaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and basic computer tasks.
• Perform daily cash handling and store maintenance.
• Ensure inventory and currency security to prevent theft.
• Report to Store Manager and follow company policies.
• Maintain lighting, fixtures, safety and cleanliness.
