Job summary

United Pacific is seeking a Sales Associate for a store location in California. You will handle daily cash transactions, assist customers, and support store operations to maintain safe, customer-focused, and profitable performance.

You will report to the Store Manager and learn to operate a cash register, computer console, and related equipment within United Pacific policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Be physically able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes.
• Occasionally climb a ladder to store/retrieve materials or place/remove signage.
• Work indoors predominantly with some outdoor periods.
• Capable of working in small spaces.

Responsibilities

• Daily cash handling and operating a cash register.
• Maintain lighting/fixtures cleaning and maintenance.
• Ensure security of inventory and currency to prevent theft and shrinkage.
• Report to Store Manager and follow company policies.
