Job summary

Talbots in Allen, TX is seeking a Regular/Part time Retail Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, promote fashion products and maintain store standards. You will engage with customers, answer questions, and help create a welcoming experience.

You’ll work as part of a team, adapt to busy periods, stay informed on new arrivals and trends, and support store operations, inventory and checkout processes using POS and iPad systems.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with ability to deliver exceptional service.
• Able to stand long hours and lift up to 40 lbs when needed.
• Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in retail or sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and promote products.
• Assist management to build store business.
• Serve multiple customers, multitask and handle projects.
• Stay informed on fashion trends and new arrivals.
• Create outfits and suggest matching items for customers.

• Handle inventory per policies: recalls, replenishment, re-ticketing, etc.
• Open/close the store and supervise others occasionally.
