Job summary

Reid Group is seeking a Customer Service & Sales role at Reid Stores LLC to provide prompt, friendly service, prepare fresh foods, and promote rewards at checkout. You will support daily operations, handle cash, and ensure a clean, safe store environment while upholding company values.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and basic math proficiency; prior retail or fuel retail experience is a plus. This is an on-site role located in New York.

Qualifications

• Proficient in basic math to handle cash transactions and reports.
• Ability to assess and validate customer identification.
• Understanding of lottery, POS systems, and related equipment.
• Tolerance of exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service to every customer.
• Prepare fresh food and made-to-order items following company recipes and standards.
• Promote rewards programs and assist with enrollment and offers.
• Suggest additional items at checkout to enhance customer experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Demonstrate company values: Honesty, Trust, Customer Focus, Teamwork, and Accountability.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and food safety standards.
• Stay up to date on company operations and expectations.
• Work scheduled shifts and follow dress code guidelines.
• Report any issues related to sales, pricing, or store operations.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Accurately process transactions and refunds.
• Balance and report register activity at end of each shift.
• Report cash discrepancies over $5.00.
• Follow proper cash handling and register procedures.
• Help monitor inventory and prevent loss.
• Notify management of deliveries and any suspicious activity.
• Protect company assets at all times.
• Keep shelves, coolers, and displays stocked and priced.
• Maintain coffee, fountain drinks, and other items.
