Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store associate to act as the primary point of contact for customers, assist in setting and maintaining plan‑o‑grams and programs, stock merchandise, and support store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting assets.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, building displays, assisting customers, and operating the cash register to complete transactions. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualificações

• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding and adherence to safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and merchandising guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills for purchase totals and change.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons; store or stock on the floor.
• Build and arrange merchandise displays.
• Stock, rotate, and face shelves; restock as needed.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag purchases; handle payments and provide change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
