Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking for a customer-focused associate to act as the point of contact for customers, assist in plan-o-gram execution, and stock merchandise across the store. The role includes operating the cash register, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, building displays, stocking and rotating inventory, and helping with sidewalk displays when needed. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and flatbed scanner; total and bag purchases; collect payment and give change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean front end of store and help set up sidewalk displays when necessary.
