Job summary

Mega Saver is hiring a Sales Associate to create an upscale, friendly shopping experience. You’ll operate the register, upsell, stock shelves, and keep the store welcoming for every guest.

You’ll promote the Loyalty Card and App, handle multiple payment forms, follow laws on restricted sales, maintain clean spaces, assist with inventory, and collaborate with teammates to deliver great service daily. This role also offers growth opportunities within a friendly team.

Responsibilities

• Provide an upscale experience for every customer, by using engaging language like “Welcome to Mega Saver” and “Absolutely”.
• Actively promote Mega Saver’s Loyalty Card and App to every customer.
• Engage and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities by upselling and cross selling.
• Accurately handle multiple forms of payment including cash, credit/debit, and other accepted tenders.
• Follow all guidelines related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, lottery) in accordance with state and federal law.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, checkout area, outside lot, trash, and restrooms.
• Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and managing product replenishment.
• Team-focused attitude with a willingness to cross train.
