Position Details

Location: 800 Steven B Tanger Blvd #506, Commerce, GA

Note: We are adjusting our minimum hiring age to 16 for this location to support holiday staffing. These are seasonal roles, ending no later than January 16, 2022.

Position Objective

The Sales Associate supports management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, ensuring a great customer experience and maximum profitability. We value our team members and believe this is an excellent place to work, learn, and grow!

Functional Responsibilities

Drive for Results

• Meet sales goals using effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service.
• Stay informed about current promotions, pricing, and visual standards.
• Handle merchandise, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed.
• Participate in visual merchandising and store maintenance.

Customer Experience

• Model and promote MAPS principles for excellent service.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Ensure efficient checkout processes and promote loyalty programs.
• Build customer relationships through clienteling and wardrobing.
• Maintain current product knowledge and communicate with customers regularly.

Operational Excellence

• Assist with replenishment, fulfillments, visual displays, and store organization.

Teamwork and Growth

• Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment.
• Seek personal development and feedback.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Retail or sales experience preferred
• Must be 16 or older for seasonal hiring; 18+ otherwise
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn new technology
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Constant walking/standing (67-100% of shift)
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent climbing (34-66% of shift)
