POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate is responsible for supporting management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture. This includes ensuring a great customer experience and maximizing profitability. We love what we do and believe that our team is the most amazing place to work, learn, and grow!

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Drive for Results
   • Meet sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge; assist customers in merchandise selection based on their needs.
   • Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, pricing, and visual standards.
   • Handle merchandise, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed.
   • Participate in visual directives including store sets and zone maintenance.
2. Customer Experience
   • Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
   • Resolve customer concerns promptly.
   • Ensure efficient register experience, staying current on policies regarding payments, returns, and security practices.
   • Encourage buying decisions at checkout and achieve add-on goals like gift card sales.
   • Sign up clients for reward programs.
   • Build and maintain customer relationships through clienteling and wardrobing.
   • Know current product fit and style offerings in-store and online.
   • Maintain consistent client communication via customer books.
3. Operational Excellence
   • Support replenishment activities to keep the store full.
   • Assist with locate fulfillment and visual presentations.
   • Help maintain store cleanliness and organization.
4. Teamwork and Growth
   • Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
   • Seek personal development opportunities and feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Retail or sales experience preferred
• Must be 18 or older
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn or adapt to technology
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
• Effective communication with customers, associates, and management
• Regular attendance and flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Constant walking/standing (67-100% of shift)
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33%)
• Frequent climbing (34-66%)
