Position Objective

The Sales Associate supports management in promoting a customer- and product-focused sales culture, emphasizing our values and guiding principles in all store operations. Responsibilities include ensuring a great customer experience and maximizing profitability. We love what we do and believe our teams make us the most amazing place to work, learn, and grow!

Functional Responsibilities
Drive for Results
  • Meet sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and product knowledge; assist customers in merchandise selection based on their needs.
  • Stay informed about current sales, promotions, and maintain pricing and visual standards.
  • Handle merchandise, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed by management.
  • Participate in visual directives, including store sets and zone maintenance.
Customer Experience
  • Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, offering a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly.
  • Ensure efficient checkout processes, stay current on policies regarding payments, returns, and security.
  • Encourage buying decisions at checkout and promote add-on sales like gift cards.
  • Register clients for rewards programs.
  • Build and maintain a loyal customer base through clienteling and wardrobing.
  • Know current product fit and style offerings both in-store and online.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers via customer books.
Operational Excellence
  • Support replenishment activities to keep the store well-stocked.
  • Assist with locate fulfillment and visual displays, including floor sets, window changes, signage, etc.
  • Help maintain boutique cleanliness and organization.
Teamwork and Growth
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative problem-solving approach.
  • Seek personal development opportunities and feedback.
  • Perform other duties as assigned; duties may vary across brands.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Retail or sales experience preferred
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to company technology
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication with customers, associates, and management
  • Regular attendance and flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
  • Constant walking/standing (67-100% of shift)
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of shift)
  • Frequent climbing (34-66% of shift)
