Job summary

United Pacific in California is hiring a Sales Associate to support daily store operations, assist customers, and contribute to a safe, profitable environment. You'll learn to operate the cash register and computer systems, handle cash daily, maintain lighting and fixtures, and protect inventory and currency.

The role reports to the Store Manager and follows company policies. Full-time positions include medical benefits and perks such as a 90 Day Increase, Referral Bonus, 401K, and tuition

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods.
• Must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.
• Be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Be physically able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes of workday.
• Occasionally climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place/remove signage.
• Most work is indoors, with some outdoor periods.
• Capable of working in small spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash handling.
• Assist in lighting/fixtures cleaning and maintenance.
• Ensure security of inventory and currency to prevent theft and shrinkage.
• Report to Store Manager and follow company policies.
• Learn to operate cash register, computer console, and related equipment.
