Job summary

Wild Birds Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate to join our retail team in Durham. If you’re passionate about nature and enjoy helping customers, this role offers flexible hours and a supportive, team-oriented environment.

You’ll greet shoppers, provide expert advice on bird feeding and nature products, operate a computer-based POS system, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Prior retail experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Interest in backyard birding or nature is welcome; training provided.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20–50 lbs repeatedly.
• Flexible schedule including closing shifts, weekends, and busy holiday periods.
