Wild Birds Unlimited of Arlington – Randol Mill Rd is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate (15-20 hrs per week) with a passion for nature to join our retail team. You should have experience in retail sales, provide excellent customer service, and be eager to learn in a team-friendly environment.

This role involves greeting customers, advising on bird feeding and nature products, assisting with stocking, inventory, and e-commerce shipping, with flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Seeking a backyard bird feeding hobbyist or someone who has a strong Interest in backyard bird feeding or nature lover.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20-50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Must have ability to work in a fast-paced setting and spend extended periods on your feet,
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will include opening, closing, weekend shifts, and working during busy holiday periods and sales,
• Previous experience with sales and customer service is highly preferred; or must be willing, able and trainable to do such; we are not looking for cashiers, we are seeking sales associates who will engage with customers.
• Must be comfortable with computers/technology, and able to use a computer-based POS system (training provided).
• Must be drama free.
