Job summary

Toole's Ace Hardware in Central Florida is seeking outgoing, friendly team members to welcome and assist customers. Previous hardware experience is a plus but not required as we provide extensive training.

You’ll help customers find items, stock, price merchandise, and keep the store clean in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Training starts day one; forklift operation and propane filling may be included with proper training.

• Customer service experience is helpful but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find items in a single trip.
• Receive, stock, and price merchandise; maintain a clean and orderly store.
• With training, operate forklift and assist with propane filling and other in-store services.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and stay on your feet for 6–8 hours.
• Must be able to lift 25–30 lbs.

What to expect:

• You’ll work directly with customers welcoming them and helping them find everything necessary to complete their project in one trip.
• You'll also be helping receive, stock, and price all merchandise and help maintain a clean and orderly store.
• With proper training, you may also be driving a forklift, filling propane, and performing other in-store services.
• Like working in a fast-paced and fun environment? We are high energy so time will fly.
• You’ll be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours).
• You must be able to lift 25 to 30 lbs.
