Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Manhattan, NY. The Sales Associate will welcome customers, provide attentive and personalized service, and guide them through the brand's collections to support styling and purchase decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining visual merchandising standards, restocking and organizing product, operating the point-of-sale system, and handling transactions accurately. The role also involves meeting sales goals, contributing to store KPIs, supporting clienteling efforts, and participating in store events and promotions. The Sales Associate will collaborate with the store team and management to deliver a high-quality customer experience that reflects ba&sh's brand values.

Qualifications

• Retail sales and customer service experience, ideally in fashion or luxury apparel.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships.


• Knowledge of styling, trends, and visual merchandising principles.


• Comfort with point-of-sale systems, basic math, and handling cash and card transactions.


• Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.


• Collaborative mindset, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and sales opportunities.


• Interest in Parisian fashion and brand storytelling; multilingual skills are a plus.


• Previous experience in a fast-paced, goal-oriented retail environment is preferred.
