Job summary

Zoom Tan is seeking a results-oriented Salon Sales Associate to join our team. You will deliver exceptional customer service, educate clients on tanning options, and drive sales through upselling and relationship building.

The role offers an opportunity to grow within a fast-paced environment, with a base pay of $15.00 per hour plus uncapped commission and bonuses. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required as we expand the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in customer service or sales is highly preferred.
• Must be flexible and adaptable to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must be able to stand, bend and work for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and provide a warm, welcoming experience.
• Assess clients’ skin types and explain tanning options, safety guidelines, and the process.
• Maintain a clean, organized tanning area and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Upsell tanning lotions and products based on client needs and preferences.
• Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining professionalism and customer service.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and maintain accurate client records.
• Open and close the salon on time.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting clients and providing them with a warm and welcoming experience.
• Assessing clients' skin types determines the appropriate tanning equipment and lotion for their needs; thorough explanation of the tanning process, including proper positioning and safety guidelines, answering any questions they may have.
• Maintaining a clean and organized tanning area, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that lotions and other supplies are wellstocked.
• Upselling tanning lotions and other products to clients, providing recommendations based on their individual needs and preferences.
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
• Maintaining accurate records of client information, including tanning history and preferences, to ensure a personalized and consistent experience with each visit.
• Opening and closing the tanning salon on time.

Pay:

$15.00 + uncapped commission and bonuses
