ROLE PURPOSE: At Mor Furniture, our Sales Associates and Showroom Managers create welcoming, comfortable experiences that help customers feel confident in their purchase decisions. This role is responsible for delivering friendly, solution-oriented service by understanding each customer's needs and guiding them through products, financing, and design options to bring their space together.
Team members in this role are knowledgeable about our products and take pride in helping customers explore features, styles, and value options - from good to better to best. You'll greet each guest with professionalism, ask thoughtful questions, recommend solutions, and follow through to ensure a great experience from start to finish.
Retain and comprehend information to receive and follow instructions, read, interpret, compare, and analyze data; research information to resolve problems; identify issues requiring further attention, corrections, and/or make recommendations, then take preventive actions; process facts and apply judgments; communicate with others to provide or obtain information. Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities, deadlines, demands, and assignments while maintaining cohesive and harmonious working relationships. Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with others related to learning, problem-solving, backup support, and fostering team support. Perform repetitive keystrokes to compile and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence.
