Job summary

IT’SUGAR is seeking enthusiastic team members to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced candy retail environment. You will engage customers with IT’SUGARTAINMENT, help with inquiries, and keep the sales floor vibrant and orderly.

No prior retail experience is required. Flexible scheduling, training, and employee discounts are provided to support your growth and enjoyment at work.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
No retail experience required!
Optimistic, outgoing and enthusiastic personality!
Willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service using IT’SUGARTAINMENT to engage and entertain customers.
Assist customers with requests and inquiries; provide product information.
Keep sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing; maintain store standards.
Operate POS/register to complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
Support store operations including backroom and display setup.

What you’ll do?

Deliver Exceptional Customer Service

Follow our customer engagement model IT’SUGARTAINMENT by setting the stage, welcoming, engaging, entertaining, and thanking the customer.
Assist customers with requests and inquiries.
Ensure the sales floor is clean and organized while maintaining store visual standards.
Operate POS/ register to properly cash out all customers.

Maximize Store Operations

Merchandise displays to visual guidelines.
Assist in the set-up of special events and promotions.
Understand all Loss Prevention (LP) policies and procedures and communicate LP issues with the Store Manager.
Operational Responsibilities include, but are not limited to sales floor/backroom/restroom maintenance, cleaning, mopping, etc.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
No retail experience required!
Optimistic, outgoing and enthusiastic personality!
Willing to work a flexible schedule of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability and willingness to use a POS/register and operate office equipment.
Able to walk and stand for long periods of time, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
Able to independently lift/move up to 25 lbs. Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs with assistance.
