Job summary

Pike Nurseries in Roswell, NM is seeking a team‑oriented associate to drive customer engagement, support sales, and perform general nursery maintenance. You will price and stock inventory, water perishable stock, learn about plants and chemicals, operate the Point-of-Sale system, and assist with deliveries and credits.

Responsibilities

• Customer service and sales
• General nursery maintenance
• Waters all sections of the nursery
• Prices and stock inventory
• Knows Point-of-Sale functions
• Assists in receiving the merchandise
• Helps with customer delivery orders and handling defective/damaged merchandise and credits
• Pulls transfer material
• Learns about product lines carried in the Garden Center
• Follow safe work practices and reports unsafe working conditions
• Attends store meetings as directed by management
• Performs other related duties and assignments as requested
