Responsibilities

Express is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing an excellent in-store shopping experience and assisting with tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting rooms, and stock room to ensure a safe and inviting environment.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure safety for all associates and customers.
• Assist with product launches and changes according to SOP.
• Provide a great customer experience and deliver on the customer experience model.
• Process transactions efficiently to reduce wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, escalate when necessary, and communicate resolutions to management.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs by explaining benefits and encouraging participation.
• Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of relevant experience, minimum 6 months
• Proficient with technology (iPad, registers)
• Availability including nights, weekends, and non-business hours
• Physical ability to meet job requirements

Critical Skills & Attributes

• Previous retail experience preferred
• Customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with customers
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
