Job summary

Jockey is seeking an energetic Sales Associate for our Merrimack, NH location, delivering excellent customer service and supporting store goals.

You will greet guests, identify needs, and promote programs such as Rewards. This part-time role includes paid time off and generous discounts, reflecting our culture of care and service.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Two years of retail or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, sincere greeting to all guests and use suggestive selling.
• Engage guests to identify needs and offer product solutions.
• Promote company programs and rewards membership.
• Assist in driving store sales and profitability.
• Handle sales and register transactions accurately.
• Assist with merchandising, stock, and visuals per standards.
• Maintain store standards, inventory control, and safety.
• Support hiring and recruiting efforts as needed.

Jockey is seeking an energetic Sales Associate to join our team at our Merrimack, NH location. As a Sales Associate for Jockey, you will provide excellent customer service following Jockey’s service principles focusing on the achievement of store goals and maximizing sales.

JOB EXPECTATIONS

• Demonstrate behavior that reflects Jockey’s core values and culture.

• Provide a warm, sincere greeting to all guests, including current promotional message and suggestive selling.
• Engage all guests to identify their needs and utilize product knowledge to offer solutions and meet their needs.
• Promote company programs (i.e., Rewards participation, satisfaction guarantee, etc.)
• Promote awareness and excitement to grow Jockey Rewards® membership.
• Assist in driving all aspects of store level sales and profitability.
• Perform various sales and register transactions including ringing purchases, processing of cash or credit payments and counting money.
• Assist with merchandising (stock, markdowns, visuals) of product in the store, in adherence to established visual standards.
• Ensure adherence to all Jockey policies and procedures.
• Maintain operational store standards (visuals, merchandising, inventory management)
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Support hiring and recruiting efforts
• Other job duties as assigned
  

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  

Preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of retail or customer service experience with a proven ability to demonstrate a passion for extraordinary guest service and sales.
  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to move 25 pounds.
• Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolong standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and ascending/descending ladder to stock and merchandise store.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning chemicals.
