Norman’s Hallmark is seeking a qualified Part Time Sales Associate for our Mays Landing, NJ location. The role focuses on delivering a caring, engaging customer experience and meeting store goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong aptitude for basic math functions including percentages and general arithmetic.
• Ability to continuously stand/walk; frequently push/pull; occasionally bend/stoop/crawl/reach above shoulders/kneel; climb a ladder; carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Infuse our Customer CARE program into the culture of the store and drive retail sales by genuinely connecting with the customer.
• Believe that the customer always comes first and is the most important to our business.
• Meet store specific Crown Rewards program enrollment goals.
• Learn and be efficient with our register system to ensure a pleasant point of sale experience and maintain cash register accuracy.
• Learn and utilize outstanding selling skills during customer interactions to build sales and drive customer satisfaction.
• Proactively learn retail product knowledge for all merchandise to use when selling to the customer.
• Maintain and restock displays as directed by store management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Our Sales Associates are the key contributors in providing a ‘caring team’ atmosphere for our customers. They are most accessible to the consumer and are the primary resource of knowledge on the sales floor. We expect our Sales Associates to show initiative, be a team player, and exemplify excellence during every aspect of the customer experience.

Sales Associate Key Responsibilities
