Job description

Jockey is seeking an energetic Sales Associate to join our team at our Kenosha, WI location. As a Sales Associate for Jockey, you will provide excellent customer service following Jockey’s service principles focusing on the achievement of store goals and maximizing sales.

• Assist in driving all aspects of store level sales and profitability.
• Perform various sales and register transactions including ringing purchases, processing of cash or credit payments and counting money.
• Assist with merchandising (stock, markdowns, visuals) of product in the store, in adherence to established visual standards.
• Ensure adherence to all Jockey policies and procedures.
• Maintain operational store standards (visuals, merchandising, inventory management).
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Support hiring and recruiting efforts.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of retail or customer service experience with a proven ability to demonstrate a passion for extraordinary guest service and sales.

Physical Demands / Working Environment

• Ability to move 25 pounds.
• Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom; repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and ascending/descending ladder to stock and merchandise store.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning chemicals.
