Norman's Gift Shops, Inc. in Kennett Square is seeking a Part Time Sales Associate to join our Hallmark Gold Crown retail team at The Shoppes at Longwood Village.

You will deliver a genuine customer experience and help customers celebrate meaningful moments. This role requires flexibility, a strong math foundation for POS transactions, and the ability to stand for long periods while assisting customers, restocking displays, and learning product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including events, holidays, evenings and weekends.
• Strong aptitude for basic math functions including percentages and arithmetic.
• Ability to continuously stand/walk; frequently push/pull; occasionally bend/stoop/crawl/reach above shoulders; climb a ladder; carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide a caring, customer-focused experience on the sales floor and help meet store goals.
• Learn and utilize product knowledge to assist customers and drive sales.
• Maintain and restock displays as directed by management.
• Support cash handling with accuracy and friendly service.

NORMAN'S, the premiere, and fastest growing employee-owned Hallmark Gold Crown retailer in the East, is seeking a qualified Part Time Sales Associate for our location in The Shoppes at Longwood Village, Kennett Square, PA. They are most accessible to the consumer and are the primary resource of knowledge on the sales floor. • Infuse our Customer CARE program into the culture of the store in which you drive retail sales by genuinely connecting with the customer, building relationships, and earning her business.
• Belief that the customer always comes first and is the most important individual to our business.
• Meet store specific Crown Rewards program enrollment goals on a consistent basis.
• Ability to learn and be efficient with our register system to ensure a pleasant point of sale experience for our customers. Accountable for cash register accuracy and basic mathematical skills.
• Learn and utilize outstanding selling skills during customer interactions to build sales and drive customer satisfaction.
• Proactively learn retail product knowledge for all merchandise to use when selling to the customer.
• Maintain and restock displays as directed by store management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
