Job summary

Norman’s Gift Shops, Inc. in Harrisburg, PA, is seeking a Part Time Sales Associate at Shoppes at Susquehanna. You will welcome customers, provide a caring, team-oriented service experience, and help drive store performance day to day.

Key duties include learning our CARE program, mastering the register for accurate transactions, expanding product knowledge, restocking displays, and supporting events and holiday coverage. Flexible schedule and a 25% store discount are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible schedule including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong math ability for percentages and general arithmetic.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a caring, team-oriented shopping experience for customers.
• Learn and promote the Crown Rewards program and store promotions.
• Operate the register system accurately and handle cash and transactions.
• Build product knowledge and actively upsell merchandise.
• Maintain and restock displays as directed by management.
• Support store events and other duties as assigned.

• Infuse our Customer CARE program into the culture of the store in which you drive retail sales by genuinely connecting with the customer, building relationships, and earning her business.
• Belief that the customer always comes first and is the most important individual to our business.
• Meet store specific Crown Rewards program enrollment goals on a consistent basis.
• Ability to learn and be efficient with our register system to ensure a pleasant point of sale experience for our customers. Accountable for cash register accuracy and basic mathematical skills.
• Learn and utilize outstanding selling skills during customer interactions to build sales and drive customer satisfaction.
• Proactively learn retail product knowledge for all merchandise to use when selling to the customer.
• Maintain and restock displays as directed by store management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
