Job summary

Webb Hyundai Highland in Highland, IN is hiring an Automotive Sales Associate to join our team. You’ll engage with customers, guide buyers through the car-buying process, and earn competitive commission and bonuses.

Availability for evenings and weekends; prior sales experience is a plus, but training is provided. We offer a family-owned environment with strong community ties and opportunities to grow within Webb Automotive Group.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to identify needs and recommend Hyundai and pre-owned vehicles.
• Learn features, packages, technology, and financing options to answer questions confidently.
• Conduct test drives and vehicle walkarounds to showcase value.
• Close sales using consultative selling and complete transactions professionally.
• Follow up with buyers and build a customer base for repeat business.
• Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets with the Sales Manager and team.

About This Role

Are you an energetic sales professional who loves helping people find their perfect vehicle? Webb Hyundai Highland is hiring an Automotive Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll engage with customers, build relationships, and guide buyers through the car-buying process—earning competitive commission and bonus opportunities along the way.

What You’ll Do (Automotive Sales Consultant Responsibilities)

• Engage customers — Meet potential buyers, understand their needs, and recommend Hyundai and pre-owned vehicles that fit their lifestyle
• Product expertise — Learn vehicle features, packages, technology, and financing options to answer customer questions confidently
• Conduct professional demonstrations — Perform test drives and vehicle walkarounds that showcase quality and value
• Close sales — Use consultative selling skills to overcome objections and complete transactions in a professional manner
• Build lasting relationships — Follow up with buyers, nurture referrals, and establish a customer base for repeat business
• Achieve sales targets — Meet monthly and quarterly dealership objectives; collaborate with your Sales Manager on performance metrics
• Drive business development — Engage in lead follow-up, event participation, and strategies to grow showroom traffic

Who You Are

• High school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent sales/customer service experience)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude under pressure
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license required

Availability: Evenings and weekends required (full-time position)

Sales experience or car sales background is a plus, but we’ll train the right person
