Job summary

Shoot Straight Inc. in Florida is seeking a Sales Associate to educate customers on firearms and related products while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. You’ll help across departments including handguns, long guns, and accessories, and may serve as a Range Safety Officer for the indoor range.

The role starts at $17.00 per hour, with top performers earning around $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, plus benefits including 401(k) with match, health, dental and vision, PTO, and employee pricing.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a friendly disposition.

• Firearm knowledge is a plus but not required (training provided).

Responsibilities

Retail associates create a safe and secure environment while educating customers and fulfilling their needs. Candidate will work with a full selection of firearms, firearms accessories, and ammunition.

Employees will work successfully in all departments of the store (handguns, long guns, tactical firearms, etc.) also work as Range Safety Officers supervising our indoor shooting range, as well as assist with maintenance of indoor shooting range.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Preemployment drug screening and continued compliance with Drug Free Workplace policy
• Criminal background check
• U.S. Citizen or eligibility to work in United States
• Must be willing to work at least one full weekend shift
