Sales Associate

Location: 6371 NE 14th St, Des Moines, IA 50313

Store: IADES Public Store

Shift: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

Overview

Kickstart your sales career as a Full-time Sales Associate, where every interaction becomes an opportunity to shape customer relationships and drive business success. You will develop new partnerships and grow existing ones by communicating the value of our inventory management solutions using a consultative sales approach. This position is based at our branch located at 6371 NE 14th St, Des Moines, IA 50313.

Responsibilities
  • Support B2B sales and customer service activities
  • Provide value to customers through a consultative sales approach
  • Develop new and grow existing relationships from leads, referrals, and prospecting
  • Coordinate resources to respond to customer needs
  • Perform local sales calls, driving a company vehicle to customer sites
  • Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success
Required Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Possess a valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements
  • Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, or related fields, or have relevant work experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Proficient in computer skills
  • Strong aptitude for sales and customer service
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-oriented
  • Strong math skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
  • Good organization, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Strong problem-solving, reasoning, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lift packages weighing 25-75 lbs
  • Pass drug screening, background check, and sex offender registry check as applicable
