Job summary

The Paper Store is hiring Sales Associates in Columbia, MD to deliver a distinctive shopping experience using our G.U.E.S.T. service approach. You will greet customers, identify needs, explain features, and close sales at the POS while keeping shelves stocked and the store welcoming.

Applicants should multitask in a fast-paced environment, work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, and maintain a professional appearance. Retail experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in specialty retail is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional conduct and attire in compliance with dress code.

Responsibilities

• Act as a TPS Champion by modeling the G.U.E.S.T. service approach and delivering World Class Service.
• Greet and welcome every customer warmly and understand their needs with open-ended questions.
• Explain product features and benefits, building sales with effective selling techniques.
• Process transactions at the POS and maintain accurate customer records.
• Stock shelves, recover the floor, and ensure store cleanliness and visual standards.
