Job summary

Yesway in Clovis, NM is recruiting for a store associate to provide hospitality to guests, process transactions, stock and price merchandise, and assist with food preparation as directed by the Store Manager. You will maintain cleanliness and operate equipment to complete transactions and ensure store standards are met.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 60 lbs, and readiness to perform various duties as assigned. Equal opportunity employer and background checks apply.

• Maintains shelves, counter, floor, glass and equipment following store maintenance schedule.
• Stock shelves with merchandise, block shelves, bag ice and maintain soft drink bags-in-box; and
• Other duties as assigned.

Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)

• Maintains shelves, counter, floor, glass and equipment following store maintenance schedule;
• Stock shelves with merchandise, block shelves, bag ice and maintain soft drink bags-in-box; and

Physical Demands:

• Move merchandise/equipment weighing up to a maximum of 60 lbs.
• Standing on concrete floors for a standard 8 hour shift.
• Receive and stock merchandise at various heights in designated store locations (normally requires using stooping, bending and stretching motions).
