Job summary

Bria Hammel Interiors is seeking Part-Time Sales Associates for our new retail shop in Charleston, SC. You will greet customers, answer questions, and showcase merchandise with exceptional service. Ideal candidates have retail experience, strong relationship skills, and a friendly, energetic approach.

Availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. You’ll be on site and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and respond to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and delivering outstanding service.
• Finalize sales by following checkout procedures and ensuring purchases are nicely packaged.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and act as an ambassador for Bria Hammel Interiors and Brooke & Lou.
• Keep the sales floor organized and restock inventory as needed.
• Highlight promotions and cross-sell products to increase purchases.
• Assist with closing procedures and store housekeeping.

Brooke & Lou is currently seeking Part-Time Sales Associates for our new retail shoppe in Charleston, SC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

In Store:

• Greet customers, respond to questions, improve engagement with merchandise and provide outstanding customer service
• Finalize customer sales by following checkout procedures and ensuring purchases are beautifully packaged
• Demonstrate superior brand and product knowledge, acting as an ambassador for both Brooke & Lou and Bria Hammel Interiors.
• Maintain an organized appearance throughout the sales floor, restocking inventory as needed
• Introduce promotions and opportunities to customers
• Cross-sell products to increase purchase amounts
• Perform closing procedures, including daily cleaning and store organization

General:

• Be punctual in attendance and dependable in performance
• Maintain a neat, businesslike appearance
• Represent the company in a professional manner

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience
• Strong relationship skills and the ability to build connections with customers
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic, with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
• Available to work a variety of hours, which may include mornings, evenings, weekend availability is required, and holidays.
• The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• High school diploma or equivalent

Competencies

Software experience is a bonus, particularly with Shopify POS and Microsoft Office Suite
