Job summary

Trek Store Cambridge is seeking a full-time Sales Associate to deliver exceptional hospitality and help customers achieve their cycling goals. From greeting guests in the parking lot to pre-assembly and post-sale follow-up, you guide riders through the Trek experience and keep bikes performing as designed.

You will learn about bikes, components, apparel and tech, participate in daily huddles, and meet monthly sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop your sales and hospitality skills through training, role-playing and on-the-job experience.
  • Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets of at least $400,000 per fiscal year for full-time Sales Associates.
  • Learn about bikes, components, apparel, and technology.
  • Participate in daily huddles and debriefs.
  • Use our Guide Sales Process to provide our customers with incredible hospitality.
  • Follow through on Quotes and Lead List communications.
  • Make decisions regarding the care of—and doing the right thing for—our customers.
  • Maintain Trek University Guide Status by completing Trek U modules to further your knowledge of our products, services, and procedures.
  • When not actively taking care of customers, you will be helping to: Complete Daily Task List assignments. Maintain all aspects of store merchandising according to the visual merchandising standards, including product placement, price auditing, and product re-stocking. Complete weekly Cycle Counts. Assemble, or pre-assemble, new bicycles. Prep customer bikes for service by our Service or Production Technicians
