Job summary

A leading hardware supplier in California is seeking a motivated individual for a sales support role. Responsibilities include participating in sales meetings, assisting in customer markets, and traveling with Sales Representatives. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a background in sales or business, and must be willing to travel 4-5 days a week and relocate when necessary. An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred, along with a safe driving record.

Qualifications

Job description

Participate in projects conducted at customer retail stores.

Work in customer stores, at an Orgill distribution center, and the Customer Service Department.

Travel with Sales Representatives, Sales Managers and Truck Drivers to observe and assist as assigned.

Work selected sales territories in the absence of a regularly assigned Sales Representative.

Working knowledge of email, internet, and Microsoft Office computer applications.

Possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Willing to travel 4 – 5 days per week on an on-going basis.

Must be willing to relocate at Company expense when assigned a territory.

Prefer candidate with associate or bachelor's Degree.

Two years of related business or sales experience in our industry (retail or wholesale hardware, lumber, building materials, farm supply) is preferred.
