Job summary

Bill Brandt Ford, Inc. in Brentwood, CA is seeking an Automotive Sales Associate to join our new car sales team. The right candidate has sales experience, loves working with people, and is motivated by helping customers find the right vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive sales or related retail sales is preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers entering the dealership and help them select a vehicle that fits their needs.
• Sell a minimum number of vehicles based on goals defined by the sales manager.
• Explain product performance and features, including optional equipment, and identify customer requirements.
• Review daily, weekly, and monthly performance to improve time management and effectiveness.
• Offer test drives and follow dealership procedures for test drive eligibility.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that is right for their needs

• Selling a minimum number of vehicles based on the goals and objectives defined by the sales manager

• Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening

• Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively

• Offering test drives to all prospects and following dealership procedure to obtain proper identification prior to test drive

Requirements:

• Automotive sales background preferred

• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment

• Strong written and communication skills

• Valid driver's license required and clean driving record
