Job summary

Norman’s Hallmark in Bel Air, MD, is seeking a Part Time Sales Associate to deliver a warm, genuine customer experience at the Greenbrier Shopping Center location. You will assist guests with selections and checkout, while learning product knowledge and Crown Rewards enrollment.

The role emphasizes selling skills, teamwork, and excellent service. A flexible schedule, store discount, and incentive contests are available, supporting a friendly team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong aptitude for basic math functions including percentages and general arithmetic.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Infuse our Customer CARE program into the culture of the store and drive retail sales by genuinely connecting with customers.
• Believe that the customer always comes first and is the most important individual to our business.
• Meet store-specific Crown Rewards program enrollment goals regularly.
• Learn and operate the cash register system for a pleasant point of sale experience and cash handling with accuracy.
• Learn and utilize outstanding selling skills during customer interactions to build sales and satisfaction.
• Proactively learn retail product knowledge to help when selling to customers.
• Maintain and restock displays as directed by management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

They are most accessible to the consumer and are the primary resource of knowledge on the sales floor. Sales Associate Key Responsibilities

• Ability to learn and be efficient with our register system to ensure a pleasant point of sale experience for our customers. Accountable for cash register accuracy and basic mathematical skills.
• Learn and utilize outstanding selling skills during customer interactions to build sales and drive customer satisfaction.
• Proactively learn retail product knowledge for all merchandise to use when selling to the customer.
• Maintain and restock displays as directed by store management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
