Job summary

Range USA is seeking a Sales Associate in Avon, IN to provide exceptional customer service, share product knowledge, and drive sales. This part-time role requires greeting customers, explaining options, and guiding them to complete purchases while adhering to all compliance rules.

The position supports in-store and e-commerce tasks and requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma and 1–2 years of sales or customer service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience.
• Ability to follow complex compliance regulations and handle confidential information.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Commit to Range USA’s mission by providing exceptional customer service.
• Greet customers and facilitate the customer experience.
• Convert customers to buyers by asking for the sale to fulfill their desired experience.
• Ensure customers leave with the complete package supporting their main purchase.
• Inform customers of services, discounts, exclusive offers, sales and promotions.
• Conduct range customer check-in efficiently and friendly.
• Maintain the range timer for proper tracking of customer time.
• Ensure an efficient and compliant range firearm rental process.
• Use radios to communicate with the Range Safety Officer regarding safety and customer issues.
• Answer customer questions regarding product pricing, features, benefits, and availability.
• Maintain compliance with all involved government agencies including 4473 and background check processes.
• Remain up to date on new product and industry news.
• When acting as an e-commerce picker, check the pickup dashboard every hour and pick new orders.

Desired Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of customer service sales experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment.
• Ability to understand, recall and follow complex compliance regulations and to handle highly confidential information.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays necessary to open and/or close the store.
• Must be 21 years of age.
