Job summary

Valley Fitness Atascadero is seeking a sales-minded studio associate with a passion for health and fitness. You will greet visitors, answer phones, promote memberships, and support front desk tasks while helping to grow the member base.

The role requires at least 1 year of sales or related experience, solid MS Office skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent. You will prospect leads via calls, texts, emails, and events to drive member growth and ensure great customer service.

Qualifications

• You must have previous customer service experience for this position.
• Preferred candidates will have 1 or more years of experience in sales or a similar related role.
• Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Stays organized and manages time well.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage promotion initiatives both inside and outside the studio.
• Build the studio's member base through sales, onboarding new members, and exceptional customer service to maintain long-term customers.
• Resolve member concerns professionally and respectfully to address them through excellent customer service.
• Prospect leads by doing a variety of actions, such as calling, texting, or emailing potential members, and chatting with them at local events or during studio walk-ins.

Compensation: $16.90 - $18 hourly
