Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart Inc. is seeking a Sales Assistant to be the go-to partner for customers and internal teams, delivering outstanding service and building lasting relationships.

You will be the central contact for the sales teams and help streamline communication across departments to support collaboration and success. Responsibilities include assisting customers on the sales floor, providing accurate POS information, and helping close sales while coordinating with install teams for order

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 years of sales or customer service in a retail or contractor environment.
• English/Spanish bilingual speakers preferred.
• Ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Must be detail-oriented, taking time to read/follow details of builders/contractors.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

• Monitor Research and study product information
• Manage Provide necessary point-of-sale information. Close sales
• Support Accurately write and enter bids/orders, including pre-install measures. Support outside sales teams
• Assist Approach customers in a timely manner on the sales floor and promptly answer telephones
• Collaborate When applicable, support install team with order maintenance, and scheduling of follow up calls
