Job TitleSales AssistantPosition DescriptionWe're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive sales assistant to support our inside sales team. In this role, you'll be the operational backbone of the sales process — ensuring new accounts are set up correctly, quotes get out the door quickly, orders move smoothly from placement to delivery, and the team has clean data to make smart decisions. This is an entry-level position with potential to transition into multiple different roles within department in the future.Roles Responsibilities• Customer Account Set-upa. Create and configure new customer accounts in Salesforceb. Collect and verify required documentation (credit apps, tax forms)c. Coordinate with credit and billing to establish payment termsd. Maintain accurate account records and contact information• Data Analysisa. Pull and distribute weekly/monthly sales reports from Salesforce and ERPb. Identify trends in quote-to-order conversion ratesc. Support reps with territory and account performance summariesd. Flag data quality issues and help maintain Salesforce hygiene• Order Follow-upa. Monitor open orders from placement through shipment and deliveryb. Proactively communicate delays or backorders to customers and repsc. Coordinate with operations and logistics on expedite requestsd. Resolve invoice discrepancies and post-order issues• Quote Generationa. Prepare accurate, timely quotes based on pricing guidelines and reps' requestsb. Apply correct discount tiers, freight terms, and lead timesc. Track quote expiration dates and follow up on open quotesd. Update quotes as specifications or pricing changes• Digital Platform Onboardinga. Onboard new/existing customers onto company/organisation’s e-commerce platformb. Train customers on platform tools and functionalityc.
